Campanula (Glockenblume)

The popular bellflower is suited ideally for the garden as well as an indoor plant. Their blue or white, star-shaped blossoms arouse enthusiasm the whole spring. If it is cut after the first blossom, it often enchants a rich blossom the second time in summer. This winter-hardy plant needs sufficient protection if put in balcony boxes or tubs during winter.

As an indoor plant the bellflower prefers a bright, not too warm place without direct sunlight and it needs enough water and should be fertilized at least once a month. Propagation is through stem cutting with at least 8-10 cm long.
