Forsythia

Forsythia is easy to care and winter-hardy plant and is considered as one of the most popular flower in Spring. Forsythia shows a vast of yellow flower carpet in April and May.  One disadvantage of this plant, is that it doesn't have nectar therefore it is useless for bees and other insects, nevertheless I find it beautiful!

Forsythias grows best in a sunny and warm place, as it is frost-hard, it can be planted all year round.

Propagation is very easy, it can be done by cutting 10-20 cm woody stem from the bottom of the plant and be planted in any kind of soil and should be watered regularly.

Right after the Forsythia blooms, it needs a cut to stimulate more blossoms in the next Spring.
