Kerria Japonica (Ranunkelstrauch)

Kerria Japonica counts to the best known ornamental shrubs. He grows very quickly, close and tightly upright. The plant propagates itself by its offshoots and reaches a height and a width from about 1.5 - to 2 meters. It's golden-yellow blossoms which appears from May to June has a high ornamental value. In good conditions it blooms again in September, a remarkable asset of this plant.

The very pliable and winter-hardy garden plant tolerates sunny to shady locations. The soil should be permeable, loose and not too dry. The shrub expands a thicket-like from if too much fertilizer is used and produces less blossoms.  

It can withstand pruning very well.  Kerria Japonica could also be propagated through cuttings.
