Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

This is my first time to create Cinnamon Rolls. I am not an avid fan of sweet delicacies but my love ones do and I want to spoil them sometimescheeky.

Here are the ingredients:

150ml lukewarm Whole Milk
1/2 pack fresh Yeast
3-4 tbsp Sugar
350g Flour
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp (50g) melted Butter
1 egg

Cinnamon filling:

3-4 tbsp soft or in room temperature butter
1 pack Vanillin sugar
1 1/2 tbsp Cinnamon powder
4-5 tbsp brown sugar

Lemon Glaze:

Lemon juice
granulated sugar

First, add the lukewarm milk in a bowl, then the yeast and sugar. Stir it until the yest is dissolve and let it stand for 2-3 minutes. Then add the melted butter and the egg. Stir it again.

Finally, add the flour and salt. Mix all ingredients using a mixer or by hand until it is smooth around 10-15 minutes.  Cover the dough with a moist cloth or in a plastic wrap for about 11/2 - 2 hours or until it has doubled in size.

Mix the Cinnamon filling except the butter.

Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it out flat to fit the baking pan you will use. Brush the surface with the soft butter evenly and sprinkle the Cinnamon filling all over.

Roll the dough tightly to form like a jelly roll form. After that, cut both ends so you will have nice ends.  Cut it evenly to make 8 - 10 rolls. Place it in a oiled or buttered pan, cover it and let it stand for about 20-30 minutes. 

Now, the cinnamon rolls are ready to be bake but before that brush the with melted butter.

TIP: I have just learned that you don't need to preheat any oven. This will save you 20% electricity! The result is the same.

Put the rolls in oven and turn it to 150 degrees and bake it for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

To make the Lemon Glaze, just put 1 lemon juice in a bowl and add enough granulated sugar. Stir it continuously and pour it all over the rolls!
