Slow Cooking Beef Stew

There are different kinds of cooking Beef Stew and this is one way of them. Cooking it slowly over low heat makes it tastier and very delicious. -:)

Any part of beef will do!

Heres what you need:

6 tbsp Oil
6 stalks chopped celery
2 carrots sliced
1 kg beef cut in desired sizes
salt and pepper to taste
1 medium sliced onion
4 tbsp soya sauce
1 large potatoes, cut in cubes
500ml water (approximately)
sauce thickener or flour
 

1. In a pan, sauté celery and carrots in oil.  Set aside.

2. Using the same pan, fry the beef on every side, add salt and pepper. 

3. Add the onions and soya sauce, stir and then add the sauteed celery and carrots.

4. Now, add the potatoes, stir and add the water.  Bring to a boil.

5. Cover and slowly cooked it in for about 2 hours or the until beef is tender. Here I use a pressure cooker.

5. When the meat is tender, add some sauce thickener or flour to thickened the sauce. 

6. Add some salt and pepper if needed.
